my story (custody)

So, I've been on here a while, and I thought I'd share with you all the craziness in my life. Sorry if its a bit confusing, its a bit confusing with for me too

So my boyfriend Reggie has a 6 year old daughter, Eva, and he's sperated from Kari, Eva's mom. Well, Kari's crazy, and not in the "oh my BF's ex is crazy" but in the "she's torn her hair out" crazy. Within the last 2 years, Kari has moved Eva around to 9 different house, 3 different schools, she met this guy Jeff offline, moved in with him within the month, and got knocked up a mont later. So now Kari has an 8 month baby (Eva's half sister), and her BD is now in prison for 6 years for all sorts of things, but Kari plans to marry him anyway, plus he's taken Eva into the prison to visit this guys on a few occasions. Kari has no job, and no car, she hasn't worked over a year, and has been un-employed for most of her adult life.

So now Reggie is trying to get sole custody of Eva, because of Kari's craziness, and joblessness. Plus, last school year Eva lived with her mom, and she missed and was late 25 days(Kari's reason: I have 2 kids! I cantalways get her to school on time!)plus she was always tired, and hungy when she went to school. We enrolled Eva in a school near us, but Reggie's custody lawyer told him it would be pointless, and to send Eva back to school at her moms. So not cool!

Ok, so my current bitch is that Eva was up north with her mom at her great grandmas. She was there for 4 days, and while she was thereKari NEVER had Eva brush her teeth, comb her hair, or take a bath. I can't see how she can have such disregard for her childs hygene!!?

Ahhhh, so thats just like, the iceberg tip of the craziness, but if you read it all, thanks for reading.

omg that is just wrong i think reggie deserves custody over her it sounds like the mom cant do her job! good luck with all this hope it works out for eva's sake

reggie deffinetly needs to get custody, thats rediculous! if his lawyer said it would be pointless i would fire his ass and find another lawyer.

thank you   Reggie and Kari have another custody hearing on October 2nd. I'm afriad if the court see's that Eva is already going to school at her moms, they'll be reluctant to take her out of school, so they won't place her with us.

Its sooooo frustrating that because Reggie and I aren't married, I have absolutly no legal recourse, and can't do anything myself. Thanks for all your suport though, it makes me feel better

I have been. Last night I sat down and typed up everyhing that Eva had told me about being up north, and how her hair was never combed and teeth weren't brushed and such. I've been trying to keep track, but there's just so much crazy.

I'm worried that we're not going to be able to get her out to school the 2 weeks we're going to have her before the next coustody hearing. The school Eva's going to is about 25 min away, and I go to school, and work, and my boyfriend works nad we have one car. ERRRRR, this is just so frustrating!!!
