making earrings...?

does anyone make jewelry? specifically, earrings? I want to make some for myself, the kind with the hook. and just...beads or something cute.
basically, i just need to know the basics of what to get...tools, etc.

All you'll really need (if you're doing basic stuff) are the earring hooks, some wire, beads, and a little pair of round-nose pliers.

Firemountaingems.com is a great resource for all the tools and materials you might need, plus I think they have some projects and/or tutorials.
