They ddint have any of the WMDs that Bush told us they did, he even admited that. Sure, maybe they had a few older weapons ect., but nothing on the scale that Bush had pushed. Unless you husband knows something the CIA, NSA and the Bush administration doesnt. It takes a heck of a lot for Bush to admit he was wrong, so since he actually did, I am going to believe him

I think that if there were actual WMDs the administration woudl have gloated from then until the end of the world.

We put more resources in Iraq than Afghanistan. Big mistake. We were after the Taliban. We should have completed that mission first. What did we think - Saddam would disapper if he didn't act fact?

Oh I agree with you there, you had just stated that we didnt go after Afghantstan and I wanted to correct that. We did, we just took our eye off the ball there and put the majority of our resources in Iraq instead. That is why we still dont have Osama and why the Taliban is resurging.

But we still went there...   it doesn't matter if it was short lived or if you think the goal was never reached... That doesn't mean that we didn't go there.

True, it just angersme we didn't do enough. It angers me that we wasted our resources and the lives of the finest men and women in uniform on Iraq. Iraq would have still been there when we finished with the Taliban.

Well I guess that's your opinion... I personally don't feel that we wasted any time... and I would hate to think that the time my husband and friends spent in Afghanistan was "wasted"

I don't think it was wasted. I think it wasn't enough.
