yikes! my boys all got the vaccine when they were born. your doc doesnt offer that?

Just keep handwashing, and oatmeal baths, since hes already got the chicken pox, theres no point to getting the shot for it. The vaccine doesn't help anyways, you could still get the virus, even with the shot

Omg!!!!!!!   I would be so pissed too.   I am so sorry, I do not have any advice, as I have not been through chicken pox w/ my kid yet, much less a newborn. I am so sorry! I hope everything is ok. I wouldn't let this slide w/o someone hearing about it (mother-in-law)!

He'll have better immunity, now that he's had the actual chicken pox, as opposed to the vaccine.

i would contact your 2 month olds doc, b/c i don't think they give 2month olds chicken pox vaccinations. That would not be good if oyur 2 month old got it, and breast feeding for a month I am not sure you need to just call your 2 month old doc like now mother n laws suck!!! I would never want her near my babies if shes that stupid!
