$1 Trillion is how much Obama plans on increasing the deficit by per year.

Obama has promised approximately $800 Billion in new spending per year (8x’s as much as the Iraq war is costing us per year)

The current federal budget is right around $3 trillion per year. That is, the US government has $3 trillion to throw around every year, and Obama has promised that he wants to include another $1 trillion in new spending.

personally im pickin the lesser of 2 evils, im goin mccain. plus i know out here in a military community we all seem to be leaning towards mccain just for the reason of supporting our troops and most of us seem to agree that we aren't fully ready to pull out of iraq yet.

He pretends like he's only going to raise taxes on the richest 1%. The richest 1% already pay 37% of the federal income taxes (which is about $1 trillion).

So if Obama needs another trillion, he's going to have to double the richest 1%'s taxes. That would be 78% of the richest people's income going just to federal income tax (not including FICA, state and local taxes, sales tax, etc).

Anyone know who's the green party guy?
