I think its possibel for him to cut spending and increases revenues over a period of a few years iin order to pay for his new programs, yes.

I also knwo that not all of his programs will get through congress and that there will be tweaks to everything once he gets in office. I also dont think that he will inact programs without having a way to pay for them as he want to create a pay as you go system in congress to help balance the budget and watch out for out of control spending. But you didnt want to read about any of that.

You keep pretending that I didn't want to hear your answer or ignored your answers. Just because I didn't want to read page after page of a vague plan doesn't mean I wasn't interested. I just wished you could have paraphrased, that's all.

All I know is that Obama has gotten in pretty deep with all his spending promises, and I really don't think any amount of budget balancing is going to make up for it. $1.788 Trillion of the current budget is already spent on "mandatory" spending, which means Obama would pretty much have to cut out the entire budget allotted to discretionary spending. Not going to happen.

How can you increase spending, but decresase taxes? Where is this money gonna come from? Perhaps he will cut other spending?

He has to. Unless he just plans on adding another $1 trillion per year to the total deficit.
