Finding out the SEX!

Geez. FIRST KP told me i can find out of the sex of my BABY mid SEP! and they called me saying OCT 3! Which is 20 wks...i guess at 20wks will be better for them. i just want to know so i can go shop for babies clothes and etc already! How far were you when you find out the SEX?

Most people wont guess until 20 weeks what the sex is. So normally 20+ weeks is when you get the gender ultrasound. I was due January of this year and found out in September. I will be due again in March of 2009 so I am guessing November is when I will find out with this one. 3d/4d places dont reccomed you come in until you are further along like 28-32 weeks I believe it is. That is when that ultrasound looks the best.

I was 20wks with both. This time I will be 19wks do big difference but I'm excited I found out on the 17th of September. And I'm not sure about the 3d or 4d thing so I will just sit back and see everyone else's answer  

i found out at 18 weeks 3 days!!
i had a 3D ultrasound booked for 28 weeks and had to cancel

You can find out earlier by paying for the 3d 4d... but most doctors its around 20 weeks... I was 20 weeks couple days with both my kids

i found out at 20 weeks with the 3d/4d that i was having a girl. We did have to pay for it but it was still worth it (my doc wasn't going to do another ultrasound until i was 25 weeks). Just don't expect too much as far as the clarity of the pictures and buy the smallest package. I believe they can tell the sexas early as like 15 weeks. good luck  

You could pay for a 3d/4d. But it doesn't mean you will find out. Baby has a mind of its own. lol.. The doctor rather wait to check your baby's size (and if they can see it the sex).. Some ladies have gotten lucky and have seen the sex from 15 weeks and on.. But its never 100% sure.. But if you can see it then more than likely its it.. I don't get mine until 7 weeks from now. So I will be alittle over 20 weeks. But I rather wait till 20 or more weeks to be sure. And to make sure they can see everything right..

Also do you really want to spend the money on a 3d or 4d if its only cause you want to find out the sex??LOL...

I had to wait til 22 weeks, so it could be worse.

stand or sit? what? its all genetics wouldnt matter how much you did of either. the sex is determined right when the sperm hits the egg.

I found out aat 19 weeks 3 days ( TODAY!!!) but we thought i was 17 weeks 3 days

Found out at 14 weeks with my first and 16 weeks with my second. I'll find out around 18 weeks with this one. Probably around the same time you do.
