web based classes

anyone ever take one? how are they? i was thinking of taking one this semster.

Where are you planning to go. Community or not? I am going to go through Phonix. I am going to go for my teaching degree. Its great cause everything is online. PERFECT for Mom's (or Dads) who stay home.

I took them for a year and I personally loved them. A lot of people don't like them, but for me it was great because i could get on at 3 am and take tests and I hate sitting in a classroom!

I took four over the summer.  I prefer lecture classes, because it's really easy to slack off with online, especially when you have kids.  But if your really self motivated, than I would recommend them  

I took 2 online courses over the summer and it was horrible. I learned absolutely nothing and it was a waste of my time. I think one of the big reasons i hated it so much was because i was used to a university setting and i took the summer classes at a community college because my university doesn't offer web classes to students living in the area... I don't want to discourage you though, everyone learns differently. I guess i'm the type of person that needs someone to TELL me the info.. . good luck!
