Has this happened to anyone else? (Somewhat TMI)

I know that it's safe and normal to have sex while pregant. People do it all the time. And we've been having sex all along, although it's been less often because I haven't been in the mood... But this weekend when we had sex I kept on thinking about the baby. Ever since I saw him on the ultrasound. I mean, I knew he was in there before... But now, he's more real to me. It all seemed like a dream before. So now we're trying to have sex with a little human being who has a NAME in there... I mean, we have pictures ofthis little guyhanging on our fridge. And everytime we have sex I think of those pictures and feel all awkward.  Iknow we won't stop having sex, but did this happen to anyone else after they got an ultrasound?

my sex drive is non existent anyway butI cant help but think that there is a third person inbed with us!!

Yeah it happened to me, i felt a little awkward having sex. But i got over it after awhile.

I do know what you mean, and I think for a tiny bit I felt like that too... But I got over it... Your little baby in there isn't involved in it, whatsoever. Relax.  
Maybe get drunk first, and loosen up? (KIDDDING!!!!!! Honestly.  )
Sex can be a super beautiful thing! I hope it doesn't sound corny... But try some serious love making instead.   It might help you ease into it again a bit better, because you're doing something all 'spirtual' and connecting with your partner ..

Hah, i remember feeling like that. I got over it eventually.
The only time it really bothered me was when Noah would start moving around when we were having sex. That was a little weird.
Oh and just wait, we have his crib in our room with us right now, because were in the process of moving.
Well let me tell ya how much fun sex is when you have a baby in the corner, cooing, sneezing, making noises.
Total mood killer sometimes, i always bust out laughing in the middle of sex now.

LMFAO I know you were kidding. It made me laugh though. And I think you're right about being really intimate and romantic about it. That might help some. I think we will try that next time. Whenever I get myself in the mood. Which most days feels like never. And if it DOES happen, it's while he's at work.

Yeah just this weekend we also had sex but my mind was on our baby being shaking up like dice!! I think I may have faked it for the first time  
After it was all over I felt some flutters of frustration from our little one

Haha, i have 2 gogs that sleep in the bed with us too.
They have definatly caused some awkward/weird moments in bed.
Chris has had his balls licked, swatted at, pawed while he's been on top. They sneak up on him lol.
Not to mention they will bark and growel if they think that something is going on. Or the two of them get in a fight on the bed while were having sex.
Needless to say, i never have sex without busting out laughing at one point or another.

Lol!! Super funny. I do that too, (and I'm not preggo...lol..) When Rob is at work, I always miss him and end up wanting to do him as soon as he walks in..... And then when he gets home, I'll be like 'um.... what happened to my 'mood'' hahahaha

LMAO Sounds like our house. Skitch is the king of causing awkward moments during sex. Or my latest favorite... Somehow between his little pot belly and my ever growing belly and some sweat, the strangest farting noise happened the other night. We both just started laughing and had to stop for awhile and collect our dignity back.
