sweetie I hate to be the barer of bad news but here goes: LEAVE HIM! Yes, I am very aware that it is easier said than done. Fact of the matter is you are already doing it by yourself. Threating never works but actions do everytime! At this time in your life you need support not an extra child who is grown by the way! As my mother would say "Put your big girl draws on and do what is necessary!" In the long run you will be happier!

totally. lol. he has some major shaping up to do. and he's had this application who is hiring and pays good with benefits and i even fucking filled out the last part of it, which is his employment history and he says he always messes up on that part and didnt want to this time, so i DID IT FOR HIM, and he keeps finding excuses to NOT turn it in!! WTF!

Sounds like he's not worth your time or effort when you get on your feet. Don't stay with him for the sake of it- if he's not going to step up then he can step aside.
