name popularity...

I love the name Gage Robert..(Robert after daddy and grandpa) but it seems i go out looking for names online and end up finding plenty the same..i know lots of ppl are gonna name their baby out of billions(which everyone is entitled to) the same name but i wanted uniqueness..i guess that is what i get for searching. I know i am keeping Gage for the first name i wonder if there is any name to go with robert as a second middle name..or do you think i should keep it the way it is and not worry about how many have it??

how many Gage Robert's do you personally know? Keep it!! I love it and have never heard it.. def not popular!!...I thought we were being unique picking Cadence Rayne for our little girl and I googled it..dang it if there arent a bunch out there... it has meaning to you and you love it and that's all that matters... there is probably always going to be someone out there with the name you pick

keep it the way it is. Gage isn't overly popular like Jaden or Hayedn or Aiden . You may come across a few now and again but, it's not like he'll have 5 others in his class. I love the name!

i love the name Gage, and it isn't as popular as some of the other names out there.
i personally love the spelling Gaige over Gage.

you could do Gage Robert Gunnar/Gunner last name.
but i do love the name Gage Robert by itself.

Just because a name is common doesn't mean your child will be. A unique name doesn't mean a unique child. I've never heard of your choice. Whatever floats your boat though.

I dont know anyone with it. My nephews name is Gage, with a different middle name. He is like 12 now , and still gage isnt that common. I always loved that name. I say keep it. Its a name you love , why change it?

I'm having that issue too. If we're having a boy, we wanted to name him Caden James. (James for my fiances dad.. and the C in Caden for my dad) But I have seen A LOT of Caden's. It's a bit overwhelming actually.

ok i will keep it..just wanted to know what everyones opinion   i love the name and sticking to it!! I guess hormones are what get me down about stupid stuff like that..but i do realize it is a shame to throw away a perfect name even if million have it! Like they say "great minds think alike"

Fromanother point of view, my son IS a Jaden and has never come across another kid with his name in five years. You hear about it a lot liking it or naming their kids some form of it, but for us, it still remains a very uncommon name. More often than not, people ask him to repeat it and say they've never heard of it. Gage is a great name!
