Should i go to the ER
posted 24th Aug
O k ladies, i need to know if im being a worry freak or if i really need to go in and get checked. This morning i wa sin pennsylvania heading back to the city in one of those lil buses. Well its a 2 hr trip ride to the city. During the ride i keapt getting not to painful but let say i can rate it a number 6 from 1-10 pinching pain down there. It keapt happening every 10 inutes at first then every 5 minutes. Also my belly keapt getting hard all across the belly button. Let say all over. The baby didnt stoped moving at all during those 2 hrs. He keapt kicking teh whole 2 hrs. I waited till' i got home to decided if i needed to go to the ER, well it didnt totally go away, like let say i keapt getting the pinching poking feeling like every hr. and the belly keapt getting hard. Now the pinching poking feeling came back and the belly keapt getting harder and harderand my whole back feel like not pain but this electric thingy sensation feeling. Im only having a regular cheesy white discharge with clear watery discharge that i been getting thruout the pregnancy. Should i go get checked? oh also i got this small cold that started yesterday while staying at my aunt's in p.a. can it be just my body reacting to the cold witrh runny nose?
Oh i will also be 36 weeks tomorrow. And have a sonogram appt for tomorrow and a nst one for tuesday and my reg check up weds. should i wait for go in?

Call your OB.

I agree.

The pinching/sharp feeling could be the baby hitting a nerve. The hardening of your belly sounds like BH. Which are both nothing to worry about.
But if the BH are timeable, or you're in a lot of pain, I'd call L&D just to be safe.

as long as your water hasn't broken, I say wait it out at home...it's almost 9pm. At your u/s tomorrow they'll know if it's labor and can admit you if need be.

id call L&D and probably just go in to get checked cuz its a great peace of mind and doctors know more than any of us on gaga

Thanx ladies, i called the L&D and they told me that if the contractions occur with really bad pain that i can't take anymore or/if my water brakes or if im bleeding to come in.
