ok, so where are my plus sized mommy to be's? I am 17 weeks and don't look any diferent besides my enormous boobs! Why is it that everyone wants to rub my top roll instead of where the baby actually is?? hahahhaa for those of you who aren't big women.. well you just dont get it! I have had 4 people try to rub my"belly" (without my permission of course) and they have rubbed my top roll! damn it! The baby is lower but touch it and you die! I do not know how long it will be before I actually start showing, but my guess is about 7 months! hahhaaa Anyone else have the same problem? Where are my big sista's at? hahahaa write me back so I don't feel so damn alone in the plus size fight of finding maternity wear for larger women! What are big girls not supposed to get pregnant?

lol, I had mega reverse issues, I didnt start showing until like 20 weeks, and people ALWAYS told me I was unhealthy, talk about unfair, infact I had on a shirt that said "All I wanted was a backrub.." and I had like a tiny tiny bump, and a COMPLETE stranger asked me when I was due, and I said december, and leaned down to my stomach and told it, "I hope your mommy starts eating soon so you come out with skin..." I was like ":O WTF!"

Bitch! I'm upset again now

Though I don't have a top roll, I'm one of the bigger girls. I have a hard time finding maternity clothes that actually fit. Especially lately since I've actually started to show a bit. And I'm 34 weeks. Still, I don't think people realize that I'm even pregnant yet.

Lol, I hear you there!!!! I'm just happy that finally my uterus has started extending beyond my belly button so now I've started to look like I have a baby bump instead of a roll and a bump!!!

I TOTALLY feel you!! lol Everyone is like "Lemme feel the baby" when i was earlier on, and I'm like... It's fat. Not the baby.   I'm FINALLY starting to show and i'm 30 weeks... But I still feel like it's more fat than anything. Motherhood maternity if you have one has good plus size maternity clothes and they usually have good sales... But the problem is, they think that if you're big you have to be tall so all of their pants are mega-long on me cause i'm 5'5. lol

OOOOH ME ME ME!!! I am a chubbers and pregnant. i cant even tell and I am 16 wks. With my daughter I was almost done with the pregnancy before I was showing. I found plus size stuff at lane bryant.com and motherhood maternity stores. although they were both waaaaay too expensive to be able to get much. I only got two pair of pants and a bunch of shirts. and i spent like $200. I never thought I would get pregnant again so i passed them off to someone else and now I am pregnant in the same boat again

It's actually not reccomended to get pregnant while overweight because of added risk to the baby... But I remember at 5 weeks pregnant people were rubbing my belly and all I could think was "If I can't feel the fucking baby, you sure as hell won't so fuck off!"

I'm big and my baby is healthy and so am I... Just because you're big, doesn't always mean you're unhealthy.

I HATE that. Even when I'm not pregnant, shopping for pants are like hell for me. It's like, if your bigger around, you have to be taller too? Haha! I have a hard time finding pants that actually fit around the waist and are normal leg length on me.

Yeah, I just paid $40 for alterations on pants because they were all too long. Luckily the woman felt sorry for me and only charged me $8 a pair!

Haha. I said overweight, not big. There's a difference.

Well I'm lucky that my grandma knows how to do that kind of stuff.. But If I didnt, I would probably be going with sweatpants this whole pregnancy! lol Have you tried that belly belt that they have there? I have two of them and they're AWESOME... I still wear a lot of my pre-pregnancy pants with that belt, and it's perfectly comfortable... I'm sure eventually I won't be able to anymore, but heck, it got me through 30 weeks so far!
