Plane Ride

So i am leaving to miami from seattle on saturday, and i am going on delta airlines. Im taking my daugher on my lap she is 18 months and i am also taking my dog who is like 5 pounds.She will be going in the plane with me i guess on the floor in front of me. So i am bringing 2 luggages for me but can i bring one for my daughter? or will they charge me? and can i bring a diaper bag as a carry one even if i am bringing my dog on to? I havent ever been on a plane with my daughter this will be her first time so i need so advise.

Lap babies don't get a luggage space. And your dog is a carry on, so you get a personal item. The diaper bag is fine to bring on. 2 things for carry on and you get your one suitcase.
It sucks, but that's how the airlines go lol.

i brought the big diaper bag and that was lylians carry on, and i had a carry on, and i think you can check one bag. i checked the car seat and setac never sent my car seat, so i had to buy one when i got to MI. that sucked. so if you're taking a car seat, CHECK IT AT THE GATE!!

if they didnt send the carseat, they should have given you a replacement one until yours arrived at the airport. that happened to me to on a flight from sea to lax with alaska, no carseat arrived with the rest of hte luggage, so they gave me a borrowerone, which isnt top notchquality, but better then buying a new one....and a week later mine arrived.

but yes, since your baby doesnt have her own seat then she really hasno extra priveleges, youll have to pay for her bag and her diaper bag will be your 'personal item' for carry on.
most airlines these days only let you check one bag, unless youve looked i up, you'll probablyhave to pay for your second bag as well as her bag....

no they gave me one, but she was over the weight and height limit and she got out of it in the car. it was a hunk of junk, so we went to the cosest walmart and bought one. look for my post about it, i put pics in there.

and as for the diaper bag, it must depend on the airline you take because i was allowed a diaper bag and carry on item. and i saw some people have a stored carry on and one for under the seat. it sucks carryign all that crap around the airport, but it works. hopefully the op wont have to walk across the whole airport like i did, it sucked.

oh, ya,your allowed one bag and personal item for carryon. but because the OP istaking her dog on the plane, that ocunts as a carryon, so that leaves her with just her 'personal item'
