To have a baby or not to have a baby....

That is my dilema right now. I just recently suffered a mc a few weeks ago and ever since then I have gotten baby fever. My pregnancy was not planned whatsoever, but it really got the idea in my head now. I already have a 2 1/2 year old and an almost 14 month old right now, but I'm starting to think I want one more. My first two are so close together, I would kind of like to have my third close, too. I don't know. I've already talked to my DH about it and he's not sure what he wants. Sorry, I know I'm rambling. Just kind of thinking out loud.

I say wait...but I'm biased b/c I don't want 3 kids myself! haha...

But srsly, wait just a lil to make sure it's not baby fever.

i think if you guys can afford it, and handle it, id go for it!
i mean, thats 3 young children, quite a handful.. but if your in the right kind of situation..... why not?

well. my other dilema is that I'm in a wedding in July. That's why I thought if I did it now, I would be due in May, have the baby before the wedding and still be able to fit into a dress. I don't want to be pregnant for the wedding or due right around it. I don't know.

Wait a few months, let your body and your mind heal before trying again. But I can't help but say I feel ya! I want another baby so bad I dream almost every night that I'm prego  

well if anything just wait for your body to heal from the m/c. then i guess go from there. but it's ultimately up to you and hubby together.

I feel the same way, but you really should wait for a little while aftera mc before TTC again. If not for physical reasons for emotional ones.

id say wait until your body heals a bit- i think usually after a mc you need to wait like 6 months to recover.

I was the same way after I lost my son. I got pregnant again on my third cycle after losing him...
I felt like I had already planned to have another baby... my other son was already looking forward to being a big brother...so we went for it.

well, I'm sure you're already aware...even if you TTC right now, you may not even get preggers for a few months or more....so for the wedding dress thing to be a major factor doesn't make too much sense.

I got preggers in Aug last year. Was due in May this year. But had a preemie in March. IF you did get preggers right now, what if you had a preemie? Just something to consider....

I've had a problem with pre-term labor already with both of my kids. My first actually made it to 38 weeks after starting labor at 33 weeks and my second made it to 36 weeks after starting labor at 31 weeks.

I think if you have to ask and you're debating, its probably best to wait.

well, if it were up to me, i would probably do it now, but hubby is not so sure. I don'tknow, you might be right. I'm just so confused right now.

I had my last miscarraige october 06.. found out a few weeks later that I was pregnant with my son STILL that they were twins... I had baby fever after that as well but when I found out that I was still pregnant I was so distant for the first half of my pregnancy to the baby.. I was so afraid that it was jsut going to be taken away like his twin was.. it took a long time to let go and I think the best thing for you to do is wait it out a few months! Most dr.s will tell you the same thing. my dr. told me 2 periods at least then make the decision... ell before I knew there was still one in there! {he's a great joy tho in my life and he WAS wanted it was just really hard to attach to a baby that your afraid of losing and getting your heart crushed all over again!}

I have been through the exact same thing. It is best to wait a few months to let your body heal. Then if you have the same feelings... go for it!
