Wesleys 13 days old i'm pretty sure hes constipated....help i dont know what to do

as young as he is.. his digestive tract is still immature and working out all the kinks. Formula is hard on their immature digestive tract and can take a while to regulate.

Its more important that they are peeing more than they are pooping.

hes pushing so hard and wont stop crying

yeah.. that can happen.. I would talk to you pedi about maybe changing formulas.. something easier on the tummy- like soy based.

he is on soy

if hes going a few times a day and it isnt hard, hes not constipated. I was reading today that alot of young babiesstrain to poo cuz they are still trying to learn to relax their muscles to let it come out.
