Yeast Infection?? ((TMI))

Ok..this is a little TMI--but it is itching like crazy down there!! At first I thought it was just irritation from these ginormous pads, but it seems as if it will never go away!! What are the other symptoms of a yeast infection??

Burning and discharge that could be foul-smelling. It also has the thick texture of cottage cheese. I just got treated for one, they're no fun.

I thought I had one too at 4 weeks pp. It was just my stitches healing. I would see a doc to rule it out though.

I don't have the discharge or the foul odor. It does burn a little when I pee...

I had a c-section though.

Never mind then! It probably is a yeast infection then. Your doc can give you the Diflucan pill so you don't have to worry about ointments while bleeding.

I have never had odor. As far as I knew yeast infections don't have odor, BV does. And a lot of times there wasn't discharge. I used to get them monthly so I had a prescription of Diflucan with a year of refills. I would go see the doc to diagnose it if you have never had one.

See, at the beginning of my pregnancy I had one, but I didn't know it. They just put me on a 'script at 16 weeks andI took it for a week. That was that. So I guess I should call tomorrow, huh?

I would call because I don't know if your cervix was open at all even though you had a c-section. I wouldn't want to put OTC cream up there so soon after a delivery. Especially since you already have all that blood coming out  Although if you are BF I don't know if you can take the pill. So I would at least call and see what they say.
