The separation of your abdominal muscles during pregnancy.....

What did you mommies do to get your abdominal muscles to go back together so that you could start doing regular abdominal exercises again?

Within a month, mine was back to normal...well, close to it. I still still feel a little ridge if I press down.

I think you can work out...but I think once they seperate you may be stuck like that...not sure though...i still feel where mine seperated

See I heard that there are specific exercises to do to pull it back together somewhat, and that you are not supposed to do normal crunches or situps until you fix it because you can make it worse.....

I did these for a few weeks. But mine wasn't that bad and corrected itself by my 6 week pp exam.

never heard that but you could be right...i am kinda screwed then...iam also preggo again and have huge babies...

yeah..charlie was 10 lbs 3 oz...mine is pretty bad.

Mine sure seperated. Mrs Verdu didn't you say one way to help prevent or try to prevent is rolling onto your side and pushing yourself up?

I don't think everyone has this problem. Mine looked like a hernia but wasn't.

yeah mine had already separated when I was told that..... hey my grandparents came over yesterday, so I will have to bring you those things later today or tomorrow...maybe tomorrow?
