39 weeks

So today is my orginal due date that was given to me and of course like any other day i feel crampy with lower belly cramps so i take a nice bath and i look down in the water and their is bloody discharge floatin around so i called my dr and they said oh its probly just your muscus plug.. if there is any contractions less then 5 minutes apart of period bleeding to call back.. Could this mean labor is soon.. i hope so.. i dont want to wait till sept 3.. my second due date.. i been miserable.. with diaheria cramps and preasure.. i want my baby boy here already

From your description, sounds like bloody show...

Books say from 24-48 hours you should feel your first contractions...

no not always.. some women lose it and dont go into labor for weeks but some the same day... just depends on if your baby is ready.........it sucks i want my lil man out 2 lol ......

you're 39 weeks today? Cause my original due date is the 3rd (we're going in for a c-section a week before that), and I'm not turning 39 weeks until Wednesday.

Weird. Anyways..labour dust to you! I haven't experienced diarrhea pain, but definitely some cramping..and I started to lose my mucus plug and had a bit of bloody show the other day. Scared the CRAP outta me!!

I walk everyday and he is real low.. and i been have irregular contractions for about a week now

ok wait i loss my mucus plus weeks ago and it was yellow . i'll be 38 weeks on monday . does that mean i haven't loss my bloody show yet or is a bloody show and mucus plug the same thing .butbloody and not yellow i never understude that ..

The book says they are two different things.... I dunno for sure.

It says mp can come out anywhere from 1 day to 4 weeks before onset of labor..... and that bloody show is usually an indication of imminent labor - within 24-48 hours.
