toe sucker!

Scarlet is learning to sit up but, she always gets distracted by her feet and decides she wants to suck on her toes.

when she practices sitting up she always leans way forward then sees her feet and goes for them. i'm afraid she's behind on sitting up  

what can i do to help this along? oh& ETA to get her to stop sucking her toes lol.

no she's not behind. my son is almost 7 months and he doesn't sit up on his own. baby;s go at there own speed.

My son is older than your baby and hes not even rolling over yet....dont worry....she'll figure it out.

Let her suck on her toes all she wants....its cute. She just discovering her body  

he can sit up if i sit behind him, but he gets too excited and pushes with his feet and falls over alot.

i sucked my toes all the time!   It's normal. She'll get over it eventually. If you discovered something new on you that you hadn't noticed before wouldn't YOU suck on it??? lol... Sorry, I had to say it like that.

hahaha she sees her toes and falls to the side to suck on them it's soo funny.

she sits up but all the way forward therefore putting her toes right in her face.

i dont think shes behind on sitting up. my son is doing the same thing. he always plays with his toes when he sits up, but they start really sitting up closer to 6 months.

okay, because at her 4 mo. appt the nurse asked if she was sitting up yet and they looked at me like i was crazy when i said no. so i felt weird.

hmmm well my son is 4 1/2 months and at his 4 month appt they told me he should be trying, but not able to on his own quite yet. he'll sit up for a good 5 min alone, but always ends up leaning forward, kickin back, or falling to the side. i dont know why they gave you that look. they dont sit up alone til they're 6+ months and 6 is even early. when's your daughter's birthday? our's must be close in age. mine will be 5 months next sunday(march 31).

babies dont have the support to sit by themselves at the age without hunching forward to their toes. shes fine

haha! Rico did too, i think its something most babies do, but i was pregnant when he done it!!
lol i only noticed it because i had heardthat before, so when i saw him sucking his toes it was "oh shit!!!"
