Another trip to L&D

So I went to my appointment today after having some pains last night.
They checked and saw that I was dilated to 3cm. and a little effaced.
They told me to go to the hospital.
So I called my mom, she leaves work early and heads home so she can take me.
We get there they hook me up to the monitors for awhile...
And we wait and wait...We're been there for about 4 hrs. and my doctor shows up.
She checks me again I'm still at 3cm but 80% effaced. So they let me go home.
They said it looks like my water is going to break on its own and it should sometime soon.
They said more than likely Ill be having him within the next two days.
I have a baby shower at 2 today and anytime after that he can feel free to come. Lol I think my baby boy is just being stubborn.
"It's like hey mom I'm getting ready to come out really soon but I think I'll make you wait a bit longer. I'm going to make you suffer a bit longer."
My hips and legs are no officially killing me.
I wish it was time to go to the baby shower and then time for him to be born!

I hope you have him soon! After the babyshower of course! lol....

Well, it looks like someone is going to have a baby soon!! I so wish I were in the same boat as you. But good luck hun, and hopefully he doesnt decide to come out till after your baby shower is done and over with!!

Only thing that sucks about that is that if he does come tomorrow, you won't have time to wash and put away all that stuff!!!!

Aw you'll get there hopefully soon too! You're due date isn't too far away.
I have this feeling I'm going to be at my baby shower and my water is going to break during it. That would suck.

That's def. fine with me. I can wait and do all that after he is born. Or my mom I know would be willing to do it for me. I have most of his stuff already so..I have all his stuff for coming home already packed and ready to go. So it's not a problem.
