re: Anyone go into labor with almost no pain?

I had no pain until they poped my water bag. I was hooked up to machine and could see my contractions happening and I felt them, but they didn't phase me. Then she poped my bag and daaaaaamn that is when the pain started and I was needing an epidural. but I was also induced and all nice and cozy set up in a hospital room. I hate all those poor girls who are contracting and get sent home cuz they are not close enough contractions or they are not dialated atleast 4cm. My friends GF was only 16 and they kept sending her home and then when she went in it was too late for any pain meds .. she had to give birth naturally .. man i felt so bad for her.. she was so young and small to have to feel all that pain.
