Strollers/Infant Car Seats

posted 22nd Aug
I bought a stroller/infant car sea combination. It's the Evenflo 'Aura'. After buying it, I read all kinds of reviews about the wheels falling off and other horrible things.

I'm going to return it-- does anyone have any recommendations for a stroller/car seat combo that wont fall apart? I plan to have more babies after this one, so I want one that's durable!

I thought I had done something wrong! lol...I wish I could help you out there, but after that combo horror I have not wanted to buy another stroller/infant seat combo...At least I know that I wasn't alone!...wish I could get my money back though...

Chicco is a great brand. They have a couple of really nice travel systems, but they are a little more expensive. I have the cortina it works great for me. I love it. Good luck.

The price doesn't really matter. I know that sounds shitty, but my husband's parents are well off and it's the gift from them. lol. They told me to get any I want.

Peg Perrego...it is expensive but totally worth it. If you want to PM me I will give you the details. It was recommended to me by a good friend of mine and thank god.

I have the Graco one it works well for me. But my son is only 4 months and almost 20lbs. So he'll grow out of it in a couple of months.

My sister just bought that Aura stroller. When we went walking I mention that it looked like the wheel was going to fall off. Ah, I gotta tell her about it.

Is your baby okay?

Graco, baby trend and Chicco are all great brands. They are the easist to use and to install.

I would rec getting a Graco safe seat or the Chicco 30. It goes to 30 lbs so it will last you much longer then the car seats that only go to 22 lbs. Im in traning to get certified in car seat safety (my test is next month) so pm me if you have any questions on any car seat. I can tell you about any car seat out their (well most).

For the stroller I would rec if you can spend the money a phil and teds I love mine. If to much money then I would get a light weight stroller like the Peg perego p3 or a Chicco trevi

I hated my Babytrends stroller. I tried the Combi, hated it. I have the Chicco Cortina and the Kolcraft double stroller. My 19 month old fits well in both. I have to have 2 because I have a 5 weeks old and a 19 month old. I don't always take both kids with me so it's good for me to have both strollers.

I have a Graco system.. Hailey outgrew the seat 6 months..but we continued to use the stroller up until her 1st birthday. (we pull her around the neighborhood now in her covered wagon).

But we will be using the stroller here again soon.. We will be going to the zoo, aquaramine, state fair .

Its held up quite well for being 2yrs old.. It was a display model at the store where my MIL bought it (already 1yr old) and I've had it a year now myself.

I keep a umbrella stroller in the car at all timesfor little trips to stuff.. Shopping centers, visits to grandma's, dr visits, etc .

My sister uses her Graco stroller almost everyday since she takes her daughter for a walk several times a day.
