PCOS after pregnancy

Anyone here learn they had PCOS after you had a baby? I have questions. Thanks.

I just found out I had PCOS. I didn't have it until recently.

I was diagnosed at 16

Heres the deal My periods were like clock work b4 I had a baby. then after I had my son I never had a PP period so my dr put me on the pill I was on it for 3 months. I come off of it and have 2 normal periods and now I have not had a period in 3 months ( No, i am not pregnant) I have other symptoms of PCOS (internet research)
Is this possible to just now discover PCOS?

btw i also suffer from night and day sweats and tender boobs and these symptoms have not gone away since I was prego. So PCS or a hormone problem?

ha ha not hormone problem a thryroid problem

I just was told I had it as I was not having a period and want to get pregnant.

Did your doctor do a ultrasound? If so they should be able to tell you. I know thats how I found out.

Maybe something was left inside you. I think that can cause issues i dunno but i dont think PCOS can be dignosed after having a baby. But im not sure my sister has it and was diganosed before she became prego this makes it very hard to get preggers so i dunno that i would think thats it.

I didn't have it prior to getting pregnant. Also, I didn't have it a few months after I had my daughter.

Wow this kinda make me think that this is what my SIL has, she and my BIL have been TTC forever and she has messed up cycles and is also in the hospital as we speak for Cysts on her ovaries exploding! She was admitted cause her kidneys and gallbladder were failing after the cysts exploded,. She was on a machine for her kidneys and today they cut her open to take out her gallbladder and they found allot of puss and infection from the poison that came from the cysts. Do you think this (PCOS) is maybe what she has?
