Memorial tattoo ideas

My husband and I want to get tattoos in memorial of our baby boy. I'm thinking we'll end up doing it the day he was supposed to be due, September 12th. He already has his tattoo picked out but I need help. Any ideas?

Did you get to get his feet print? Cuz if you did i'd say you two could get his feet print with his name and DOB and DOD...Im getting my little girls done as soon as she gets here

Depends, do you want something small and simple, or something large with tons of detail? Where do you want it?

The imagine of a baby (small profile of an infant in a fetal position) inside a heart (the heart would be just an outline). Maybe your babies initials as well.

I have a cross with angel wings on my left shoulderblade with "In loving memory' writen above, her initials on the cross beam and her DOB/DOD underneath... theres a pic in my album of you want to see it.

My husband is doing his foot prints on his back with his name, DOB and DOD, but he was already planning that. He's planning to get all our future kid's footprints on his back so it looks like someone was walking on him.

SOmething like this maybe, but the heart hallowed out and the imagine of a tiny baby inside it.

I'm thinking of getting two small butterflies to symbolize the two babies I lost. Underneath (or somewhere in the wings) I am going to put the date of my miscarriage/loss. Maybe on the other wing I'll put the EDD. Since both my losses were in the 1st trimester, I don't know the gender of the babies, that's why I like the butterfly idea. Also, butterflies have a short life span, and I think it goes well with the short amount of time my babies were alive in my womb.

I had a memorial tattoo done for my two angels babies..This photo is from the day I got it. I chose to place it under my collarbone, over my heart. So they would always be close. The phrase "May angels lead you in" is from Jimmy Eat World's song Hear You Me.

i got a butterfly for my daughter coz the first time i felt her move was like there where butterflys swimming in my tummy.. i dont know what to get for my angel though

Im getting this next year for Andrew's 5th angelversary...I have been wanting to get it for years but seem to be pregnant whenever the opportunity comes along...must be a sign...Im due in march so I have a few months to trim down and breastfeed before getting this done...

Yeah, I have it sketched out the same size as his footprint bit I want it a little closer to his real print...I just sat down and started sketching one day thats y half of one of the wings is missing...ran out of paper lol
