C-section Moved UP!!

Well I was scheduled for a c-section on Tuesday the 26th and my doctor said that they will call me with the exact time. Well today they called the house and me and my mom were out so i missed the call. So i figured let me call L&D and they should have me on their list. Well i called and spoke to the head nurse and told me that there are all booked up and i probably wont get in till thursday the 28th . So she than tells me give me your # cause your doctor is actually here let me talk to her and see what she says. So im anxiously waiting by the phone and 5min later she called me back and said the dr left you a message on your cell phone. So i run to my call and she tells me this..... There are no spots so i have a idea... she said that she's on call this weekend and for me to not eat anything heavyon sunday morning and to come in to L&D on sunday afternoon between 3 and 4pm and tell them that iam having a headache and contracting with back pain and they will page her and she will do my c-section than.... My family and i are so shocked that she would go out of her way and be so slick  and do this for me. She has been the best thru this whole pregnancy and very caring and supportive....Just wish me luck and i hope all goes well cause i suffer with anxiety and panic attacks.. She also told me that if i want they will do the spinal and get the baby out and let me see him and than put me to sleep when they stitch me up so i dont freak out.....i'am so praying that all goes well!!!!

Congrats!!! how exciting!! i had mine scheduled 08/08/08 for late afternoon so i decided to sleep in as long as i could that morning to keep my mind off of everything and i got a call at 745 am asking if i could be there by 830 my doctor had an opening .. talk about FREAKING OUT.. lol my honey and i were scrambling to make sure we had everything in the car and calling all the family to tell them suprise change of plans! it was great though cause i didnt have time to get myself all worked up   as far as the csection dont be scared i was a freaking mess i was shaking and crying and telling everyone in there i couldnt do it. while they were getting ready to do my spinal. i really freaked but the nurses and doctor held on to my shoulders and hands and got in my face and talked me through it and it was a breeze once i relaxed ( did i mention i have ZERO pain tolerance im a BIG OL BABY ) i did get scared for a minute or two when i went numb but once i got used to it the c section flew by and i didnt feel a thing once they got the baby out and i got to hear her cry and see her beautiful face i forgot about everything going on around me.. it was amazing !! i remember hearing my doctor say to give me the sedatives and that was about all i remember ... i dont think i fell asleep but i know i got majorly looping i remember cracking up the rest of the time and my doc telling me later i should be a comedian lol ... im telling ya momma i was a nervous wreck but that is normal just remember to breathe lol and it will be over before you know it !!! i was in and out in 40 minutes!! im 2 weeks pp and i feel fantastic recovery wasnt as bad as i thought it would be just move as much as you can!!!

Girl let me tell you that im just like you my pain tolerance is 0!! Im just trying to get my mind prepared for it cause i've never been in a hospital before so iam scared!!

i know how u r feeling but just remember to breathe and if someone is going to be in there with u keep talking to them that helped me through it
