Charting temps/waking with baby

posted 22nd Aug
I want to start charting my temps again, to see if I'm actually ovulating at all since I had Julien (I had my first pp AF in June, and then another one a week ago, so they aren't regular)... but don't you need to have been asleep for like, 4 hours before you take your temp? If that's the case, how do you do it if you don't get 4 solid hours of sleep?

Just do your best. I would take it when the baby got up to eat if I knew I wouldn't fall asleep for more than another hour.
Once you're used to temping you can do it every other day to make it easier. I just start temping if I notice any changes in CM. I think I've had 4 periods since I had my son but the first two cycles I didn't ovulate.
