Ugh. Vent....

So my best friend and I have been friends for almost 15 years. She got married at 16, got pregnant, had a little boy and then this year had a little girl. I didn't agree with her decisions but as her best friend I stood by her. I love her children. They are the best. But the man she decided she wanted to spend the rest of her life with is absolutly psycho. He has been from day one. I have been scared to go around him from the day I met him. I didnt say anything to her back then because I thought at 16 that is what friends did. But now, he is trying to make her choose between me and him and she wont. They fight every day because of it. I dont call her or text her anymore because I dont want her marrage to fall apart because of me. But she keeps telling me I could move, change my number and my name and she would hunt me down because we have been friends for too long to throw it away. And this has been going on for 4 years. So today her husband told her to choose or he was leaving and she toldhim to leave. She seems content with what she did but I feel bad. I dont know what to say. I feel like her marriage fell apart over me. I would never wish that they werent together because he helped her make those beautiful kids. My neice and my nephew. I dont know what to say about any of this to her. I Want her to be happy but I dont want her to loose her marriage (a bad one or not) over this. UGGGHHHH! Should I just drop it and let it take its course??

if it's not healthy for her, you're being a true friend by being there for her, whether or not they stay together. If he's gonna make her choose between him and her best friend, then he doesn't really love her, and her best interests aren't in his mind. and you need to tell her that. Just because they're married with kids doesn't mean they have to be together forever. It's better for the kids too. Chicks before dicks, remember that.

girl hes nuts and just wanted a reason. If it wasnt you it would be her mom or sister or some other crap. Its all subconious, he wants a reason to be mad and make her choose and he if he cant respect two women being friends he need to grow up, id get it if you were a guy but your not. He just wants a reason out, there is more to this then she might let on.

He wanted to leave her anyway probabyly or just wanted to try and control her either way it is better he is gone

It seems like he would have a reason for not liking you though, do you know why?? I mean crazy or not i don't think he'd randomly be like it's me or her if you did nothing wrong.

Like the guys always say, "Bros before hoes"! It works the same for women. Don't feel guilty, if he was such a creep who cares about this guy. He obviously has some issues and those issues aren't good for you, your friend, and especially the kids! Let me tell you, it hurts the kids more than it hurts any adult!
