So a bunch of girls from school are throwing a 'Jungle Rave' (dry rave-no drugs) tonight for all the Seniors 2009. Travis (my bf/bd) doesnt want to go because he just got surgery on his shoulder. I have 0 friends. I dont really talk to any of the people going and I am embarassed to go alone. But I want to make friends, I'm just scared... What do you think?

Personally, if I didn't have any friends that were going, I wouldn't go.  But I"m not a very social person.  If I go to something like that and don't know anyone, I just end up sitting by myself, not having any fun.  I don't know that it's really the best way to make friends, especially with having a little one at home.  JMO

I'm not too social myself. I would like to be.. but i have social anxiety. haha
My mom offered to watch my little one since i never get out and go anywhere. But i dont know... I'm going to be at school with all these people so im thinking maybe this is a good way to break the ice

I would go. You never know you might have a good time and if you don't just leave. Make up some random excuse Lol. But you could meet some really awesome people.

i think you should definitly go. All moms deserve free time which is fun. Especially you mama totally deserve to go out for awhile and have fun and meet friends. Have fun hun!  

I got my friend Marley to come with me(she doesnt go to my school)   So now im not so nervous!
