Anybody else have a doctor who said this..

My Docter revealed that she wasn't going to check for my gender until I was 26 weeks!!!

This is my second baby and my other docter told me at 15 weeks.... Why is she torturing me? And she was RUDE!!!

My doctor said it would be hard to tell the gender past 18 weeks, because it starts getting a little crowded and more likely there legs will be crossed, or in a weird position.

Did he tell you the reason why?

No. but I did have a US tech imply I was too fat to see the gender ar 19 weeks--my doctor confirmed she was full of shit. The truth was that I was the last appointment on a Friday and she didn't want to put in an extra few minutes.  

well my doc did a sono at 16wks and I am getting another at 20 wks to find the gender....but enough about me I would slap the devil juice out of that doctor and went in that room and gave my self a sono....lmao....Okay maybe try going to another doc.

i wasnt told until i was 26 wks and i was p'd off i had to wait that long

They don't HAVE to check at anytime.

My doctor wasn't going to do a gender scan, just check ups and he only did two.
One at 16 weeks ,which he didn't tell me the gender and one at 28/29 weeks.

Which by then I had paid out of pocket for a 3-D and found out.

HA, my doctor said there was 'no reason" to do another ultrasound unless we come across something that seems wrong.. or if something goes wrong......
So according to my doctor - I didn't get to find out. They do offer a gender check ultrasound on the side - but its like $125!! crazy
But I went to a place that just does ultrasounds - that did it for me for $45
If you're that curious - you could fake some pains and go to l&d and they'd probably do an ultrasound to make sure everythings okay... and in the process they'd probably be able to see  

That's bs, I got my first pregnancy gender at 18 weeks, and this one I'm not that far along yet.

She said my insurance only pays for 2, thats a lie my friend has it and has had 4, I had it with my son and totaled 6. I'm not a sono freak I just worry alot!!! And I have had surgery on my cervix so my other Doc kept a good watch on it!

Are you serious? Holy shit, someone break line would soooo be cut for that. Joking, but thats a definite keying of her car.
