im only supposed to work 4hr days but we were really busy and i felt ok so i stayed for 6hrs (no break on my feet the whole time) and now my ankles are soooo swollen.. ive had them up elevated for a couple of hours and nothing.. what else can i do??    

Do they indent and stay if you poke them?

If so, that's not good.

But anyways, just keep them elevated and stay away from foods high in sodium.

drink a ton of water...i always soaked my feet after work, it felt so good. but yeah elevation and water

try epsom salt in a tub of warm water and soak your feet for a while.

don;t worry mine were l;ike that for the entire last 3 months of my pregnancy..all the time.. I used to gross my hubby out with them haha...they indented bad!
but my doctor wasnt concerned, she said its just water retention and if you keep them up elevated you will be fine  
but def mention to your doc. next visit

I feel your pain! I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me no more salt because I'm so swollen. The bad thing is, I never really eat salt or salty foods. He told me to drink lots of water and keep my feet up. I'm really tired of my rings not fitting and having cankles! I'm crossing my fingers that once this horriable hot month is over and September comes it will be better!

Because indenting could be a sign of preeclampsia.

no i dont have one... and the ankles kinda went down...i just cant seem to stay still im always running around lol ! i gotta stop and relax
