That you splurged on that was totally worth it? And one thing that you splured on that you thought was a waste of money?


I bought the AngelCare Monitor, and I'm soooo happy that I did. I don't think I would be able to sleep while she slept if I didn't have it in there. It's a life-saver for me.

As for something that was a waste of money....I guess it would be her bassinet. Since I'm too paranoid to put her in it, since it doesnt' have the AngelCare monitor, lol.

Her crib, she won't sleep in it lol, she sleeps with me. However her swing and bouncer were definitely worth it.

Electric breast pump

Basically everything we've bought has been great... his swing, his bouncers, his jumparoo, walker, rocking chair, pack n play, crib... he uses it all!! lol We actually got his bassinet from a friend but that got plenty of use too!!

It's a monitor that alerts you if your baby stops breathing. At 15 seconds a warning beep goes off, and then at 20 seconds an alarm goes off. It works great, at least for us. It has this piece that goes under the matress & then it has the monitors. We got a sleep positioner so our baby stays in place and doesn't wiggle off of the area (that way we don't get any false alarms). It works great for us.

Oh that sounds really cool. Would probably help anyone sleep a little better and not have to worry

And I would say my breast pump was a great investment.

I didn't have to buy it but i have a little portabl swing that i dont know what i would do without. That and her nature's purest play yard. Hmm what i could have lived without is the sling i bought. She hates it.. So now im ordering a Mei tai baby carrier from www.babyhawk.com

Ohh...and I loved having a sterilizer this time around!
