I Don't Know What I Would Do Without Him...

To all of you ladies who are pregnant on your own, or single moms... You guys amaze me. I don't know how you do it. If it wasn't for my husband I would fall apart right now. I am sick, uber sick. Feel like complete sh*t. I had to work last night from 5-10:30 plus a 20 minute drive home. I only got a 15 minute break at 6:30 and then I was constantly on my feet the rest of the evening and running around squatting and bending over. I can't breathe because of being sick. I was miserable. By the time I left work I was crying. I was having major round ligament pain and apparently the beginning of pelvic pressure. My hips felt like Barbiemust have felt when I was little and I rippedher legs off. I was having these weird muscle spasms I never felt before and I didn't know what they were so I was freaking out and worried about my poor little boy and me. I cried all the way home, I walked in the door and there is my husband... Still awake and waiting for me at 11pm when he has to get up for work at 5. The house was spotless. Every dish was clean, the floors were mopped, everything was organized, the sheets were washed... I mean, this place looks as good as when we moved in. He even hung the pics of our little boy on the fridge. He has no idea what to do with crying women, but he held me and ran me a warm bath to help with the pain and my crappy sinuses... Then he stayed up with me until 12:30 when I finally was feeling good enough to sleep. If I did not have him, I would be so lost...

Well, being a single mom I can see why! You're very welcome. I really do mean it. I don't know how you ladies do it, but you're stronger than I.

Aww thats too sweet. Its nice that your hubby isthoughtful. Mine bf is, but not that much! lol

That's something you get used to. I envoy those who have their SO around for them but not all of us are that lucky.

I was thinking that same thing last night. My hubbs left to get to the drag strip so he could make his time trials at 9:00 this morning. It was just Angelle & me overnight. It was then that I realized how much he contributes to taking care of her. He holds her, changes her diapers (sometimes), entertains her, plays with her, rocks her (he's so good at getting her to sleep!)... Not that I don't get my turn, but when it was all up to me, I realized what a BIG job it is. It's nice to have such supportive men in our lives

I know at some point he will be deployed and I won't have him around, but with beingso sick and stuff, if he was gone right now I don't know how I'd get myself out of bed.

I was a single mom with my first until she turned 3 and then I met my bf and now have a baby with him It is soooooooo much easier having him to help.

You do know that there is a law or something that states that there are certain things you cant do when you are prego. I remember reading it somewhere, like being able to sit instead of having to stand on your feet all day, and not having to lift more than so much weight.

I don't have to lift anything and I am pretty sure I was still within the limits on how long I was standing. It would be fine if I wasn't sick on top of it. That's the problem.   Bleh. This being sick and pregnant thing is really lame. Seriously.

Oh yeah I totally know what you mean about that one. I had morning sickness for well over half of my pregnancy, and my hubby was deployed the whole time came home 2 weeks before I gave birth thank goodness. It was so hard to do it on my own cause everytime i was sick before he would run his fingers thru my hair and put me to sleep and he wasnt there   but if your hubs wasnt here you could do it too, you would be absolutely amazed at what you can do

I know I could do it, but it sure seems like I couldn't. LoL He did find out that he isn't on the list for first rotation. Therefore he won't be deploying January most likely. Thank God.

Oh thats awesome! A bunch of guys got bumped up here now they are leaving sooner! Its crazy everyone was in a panick the other when we all found out.
