re: C Section mommy's ?

My c-section was emergency so i was basically about to pee my pants! i was so afraid! It was my first surgery ever, but it honestly wasnt bad at all. i have a verrrry low pain tollerance and i would love to have all my babies via c-section(not that i have much choice now). The spinal is amazing! Its a bit uncomfortable getting it but in a matter of seconds my body was like a giant pile of jell-o!   I didnt even know they had started anything until right before they pulled the baby out and i asked "when are we going to start?" haha. After your spinal you will be just fine, i almost fell asleep i was so relaxed. The only part i didnt like was afterwards i was shaking reallllllly bad, and the itching from the morphine(thats in the spinal), but thats the worst of the entire expierence!

wow you got lucky then because my c-section was the worst thing i have ever endured and i have been in a motorcycle wreck and have had 22 surgeries other than my c-section and i also had one child naturally so either i was being punished or you got super lucky lol!!!

Y was it the worst thing please explain

it was just a horrible experience for me. i was really big so when they layed me on what felt like a hard kitchen counter i couldnt breathe and they strapped my arms down so i couldnt move i felt like i was hyperventilating... i could still feel them cutting me even after i got an epi, then i could see the blood in the reflection off the lamp over my head which totally freaked me out.... after they finally cut me open they still couldnt get my daughter out (i never was too sure the reason why) after all that was over with i was in so much pain nothing would help.... for about 2 months after she was born i was in severe pain, my incision tore open and they had to stick this q-tip looking thing that burned my skin so bad inside my wound to try to heal it... i couldnt laugh, walk, or hardly move and to me that just seemed like the most terrible thing ive ever been through...

Tell me about yours what happened to u ?

My c section was an emergency and was a big shock. I think I was more in shock then when they were getting started I didn't feel them cutting into my belly, but once they got to the uterus I felt it all, they gave me more meds, but it was kinda late. As soon as they kicked in the baby was out and alive. I had a risk of loosing the baby.I don't want to scare anyone, but that was just my experience.
That was my second baby, but now with my 3rd I have to have another c section since the pregnanciesare so close together. The Dr said if I were to try a natural delivery I risk the chance of having an uterine abruption.
All I can say is as long as your baby is alive & healthy in the end it's all worth it! Pain and all.

This one will be scheduled now so hopefully you will have a better experience. This will be my third all of them where scheduled so they weren't bad. I have a new doc and diffrent hospital so hopefully i have a good experience like the first two times

SAAAME thing happened to me! Only I felt so much of it that I was even waking up from the meds they were using to knock me out. I was screaming, vomiting all over myself, choking on the vomit itself. He kept giving me shots of demoral but nothing seemed to help. When they were stapling me, I could have swore it took over an hour! The pain was so intense. Horrid experience! I'm going to have a panic attack when I'm being wheeled into the OR this time around. Very nervous! lol

HOWEVER, recovery was great. I had my staples removed before even leaving the hospital. I was up and doing everything I did before within a week.
