still birth??

so im a little confused about what this is.. i have been hearing about people who have had a still birth and its really scaring me!! how does it happen?? and are there any signs? or do u just go to give birth and it happens? idk im confused .. can doctors tell u if your gona have a stillbirth/?? this topic really depresses and scares me but i gotta know.

i think it normally happens when there is a cord accident or something of the like while the baby is in the mommys belly. or some other medical condition that causes complications. i know its scary but if you have had a healthy pregnancy then there is little reason to worry. stress is not good for you or the baby!

sometimes the baby can die in the uterus due to many different things such as cord damage and such. the only way to get the baby out is to give birth....

just make sure you pay attention to your babies movements.

Some people have a stillborn because something happens in the womb or from an infection or something going wrong with the cord or there is something really wrong with the baby.
Sadly the vast majority of stillborn babies they have found no cause for.

If you were at risk of having a stillborn for a medical reason like something being wrong with the baby the doctors would have picked it up if it was something major.

Dont stress yourself out, most babies arrve safe and well

usually theres a problem that goes undetected, or a cord accident, and sometimes they dont know what happens, or an infection. and usually it's caught when they dont find a heartbeat or mom doesnt feel the baby move. theres not much to do to stop it except maybe rush to the e.r. if you feel decresed movement, then if there was a prob, theyddo an emergency csection if the baby was still alive. if not youd most liekly be induced.

oh yes it is very scary I am the same way I hate hearing about it but I just can't help but want to know more about it.....

usually the way you can tell if you are going to have a still birth is that the baby stops moving and then they let you know that your baby has died.=( at the doctors.... so thats why its sooo important to make sure you are feeling your baby move so many time a day! =)

Most of the time you can tell if theres problems with your baby...then you should visit emerg to make sure.

There are a variety of ways it can happen, I've heard that reaching with your arms above your head has a chance of the ambilicol cord wrapping around your babies neck.

I would try not to worry to much, just enjoy your pregnancy and dont stress...stress isn't good.

don't think too much about it but if the baby stops moving or you notice less movements then you need to go in to see your Dr.

don't try to stress yourself out worrying about it. That won't help any.

horrible things happen sometimes and that is one of them ~ my cousin hada cord accident with her baby a month or so ago and it's just a horrible thing

i gues i dont need to worry then cuz i have had a complication-free pregnancy and he moves non-stop!lol but man that is a scary topic... i think i was just worried about it cuz i didnt know anything about it! thanx for all the info ladies!

Even with a regular pregnancy soemthing can always go wrong right at the end. My cousin had a still birth and she had a normal pregnancy. sometimes it just happens.

Anything can happen at any stage, but seriously dont stress just be aware of your body and if you get worried dont hesitate to just show up at L&D

Aww yea if they cant find a heartbeat then usually its not alive and u can carry it to term but u can also asked to be induced and have it, girl if u feel the baby move then just keep doin u!!
