re: Maternity pic & my mother

personaly i wouldent do naked belly pictures...like to hang up or anything. but if you like them who cares actuly those are relitivly tame you have a top on at least, lol

Thank you honey! I thought the belly pic would be a good memory to have in a scrapbook or photo album because it might just be my only child i'll have. My life is so busy and my husband in the military it doesn't make it any easier. I'm going to miss being pregnant and seeing how big my belly gets, ykno? Who care if I'm going to hang them up on the walls, it's just a picture. I've seen worse maternity pictures taken.. 

Back in the day pregnant women were expected to hide their bodies.
Now it's not uncommon for them to bare their bellies.

I like the pictures that you got. Both of them look great!

Those are great. I think moms make those comments because they're from a different generation. My mom made comments too when I told her I was considering getting belly pics taken. Now she makes other stupid comments. I know she means well but sometimes it's frustrating....(I'm sure her mom also aggravated her to no end, lol)

Yall should have seen my MIL & my stepmom's faces when they learned I made a belly cast!

You make a good decision regardless what your mother said. I think they look good! The 1st one is my favorite!!

thanks ladies for all the wonderful comments. I'm glad I took the chance to take these pictures. I love taking pictures that i could keep forever and look back at them when i grow old lol.
