Quoting Bisonbird:“ They always say if you can get up change positions or take a bath, and the symptoms go away, not to worry. ... [snip!] ... not to worry. But if they are getting in the way of your normal activities, and nothing you do makes them go away, I say call.”It seems like if I get up and move around my back starts to hurt a bit more. It's not really getting in the way of anything it's just really uncomfortable. I mean I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, so I'm just trying to figure out if I should wait until tomorrow and just talk to them.
Quoting BrittanyL.:“ My back and sides hurt... I'm used to my back hurting but this is a bit different. And my stomach feels ... [snip!] ... up calling and them telling me to go to L&D, just to sit there being monitored for a bit then being sent home (yet again.)”
Quoting BrittanyL.:“ It seems like if I get up and move around my back starts to hurt a bit more. It's not really getting ... [snip!] ... and of course all she says is "You're fine, I highly doubt you're going to have that baby now. So wait until your appointment."”Try to take a shower with the warm water on your back where it hurts to see if that helps and lay down and get confortable if you can.
Quoting Pinky37anahaf:“ So, it sounds like you are having contractions... But are you feeling pressure - uh.... down there? And in your bowel?? Usually real contractions come with pressure....”
Quoting MamaJessie:“ Try to take a shower with the warm water on your back where it hurts to see if that helps and lay down and get confortable if you can.”
Quoting BrittanyL.:“ Hmm..a shower might be nice... Laying down is somewhat out of the question at the moment, it ends up making my side hurt more.”
Quoting BrittanyL.:“ I've had pressure down there for like the past month and it hasn't changed any since I started hurting, like it hasn't gotten any worse or anything like that.”
Quoting MamaJessie:“ Well then you can set down and have pillows around you to be comfortable.”I'm going to try.
Quoting Pinky37anahaf:“ The pressure I'm talking about is noticeably uncomfortable, and different than the constant pressure ... [snip!] ... feels like my son is going to just pop right on out!!! And, when the contraction is gone, it doesn't feel like that anymore. ”Yeah, I haven't noticed anything like that.
