feeling baby early

I swear I've been feeling baby for about two weeks now. Everyone tried telling me it was just gas, but I feel gassy one second, than a completely different feeling the next.

My doc kept shaking my belly to make baby move during my last ultrasound.. I thought it was so cute. So last night I'm laying in bed and I give my belly a little tap-tap.. and I feel butterflies. I lay still and it stopped.. so I tried it again a few minutes later.. and again, the butterflies.. almost like baby was saying, "Stop it, mom! I'm trying to sleep!!"

14 weeks and 4 days...

everyone tries telling me, "no, it's impossible.. you won't feel baby until at least 17 weeks.."

but my doc said that's definitely my baby..

Just wondering if anyone else felt butterflies this early with their first pregnancy..

That is pretty early for your first, but with this one I felt her moving as early as that   With my daughter it was at 15/16 weeks! so it's not impossible.

Yeah that is kinda early to feel movement... Well dating 2 weeks back from now, it is. But I started feeling my son move around 15 weeks so I'd say its pretty possible. =] Congrats.

Are you sure?... I'm on my second childand 16 weeks 5 days and deff. have not felt the baby move.

not constantly.. every once in a while it's just a faint brushing.. very soft butterflies.. very different from the gas bubbles..

the first time i felt it i was sitting weird at my computer desk at work... i didn't feel it again for a long time.. but about 3 days ago i felt the brushing numerous times throughout the day, and again last night was so weird..

i only felt the brushing once today..

You probably are feeling the baby. I dont see why not. They see women feel it sooner with 2nd pregnancies because they know what it feels like . I know I felt the baby that early . So, why would it be impossible for you to feel yours?
Its awesome isnt it? before you know it , you will be feeling the kicks! I am 21 weeks now , and you can feel them from the outside. I love it.

awww.. all my husband wants is to feel the baby kick at least once before he deploys, but he's taking off when I'm 18 weeks and 1 day.   I know he's very upset about it..

i'm 16 weeks and 4 days and i am just now starting to feel the baby kick out side my tummy the father and everyone else can feel him or her kick now..
but i felt my baby first move at 13 weeks but not as strong as i do now
