posted 21st Aug
Im so sick of AF and each month is soooooo unpredictable.. the last few months AF has come at least 3 days late! this time AF came 3 days early... and it is sooooooooooooooooooooo heavy and uncomfortable (pains etc)

God I hate AF so much, It is so heavy I can sit on the toilet and its like I am doing a wee but I havent even started... its crazy
the last time I was this heavy was when i was a teenager and they put me on BC to regulate and reduce bleeding so much... unless I got back on BC its gonna only but get worse

your AF sounds like mine, and mine is like that due to Endometriosis. Have you ever been tested? Sorry you're having a rough time, I feel your pain!

No,
It basically started when I was 10 or 11 when i got AF first...They refused to do anything until I was 13 and I was in soooooooo much pain and AF would last 10 or more days and be REALLY heavy... so since 13 up to 23 I was on BC I went off to get pregnant with Isla and got pregnant with her in like only a few months so it didnt have time to get worse...
once i had her I went on BC again and at 4 months we decided to TTC again.. so since January I have been off BC and it has been slowly getting worse and worse...
maybe I should get a test?

Endo is hard to test for, unfortunately. They look at the symptoms and if they feel you have it, the only way to know for sure is a laparoscopy surgery through your belly button. Then they can see if you have it, and if you do, treat it. It gets worse with age, and from what you are describing it sounds like it. I'm not trying to worry you or anything like that, I don't wish it on anyone, but I'm all about spreading awareness because I have had horrible periods since I was 9, and just found out in April that I had it. I didn't know the pain wasn't normal.

Symptoms of Endometriosis
* pelvic pain
* pain before and/or after menstruation
* severe menstrual cramps
* painful intercourse
* painful orgasms
* heavy or irregular menstrual bleeding
* painful bowel movements often with cycles of diarrhea and constipation (also increased diarrhea during menstrual bleeding)
* infertility
* intestinal distress such as bloating, vomiting, nausea
* lower back pain
* bladder pain and/or frequency
* fatigue

yeah I just looked it up and seen you had to get a small operation through your belly to check...
The symptoms sound VERY familiar

the surgery isn't too bad, the recovery is quick, and for me it was completely worth it. I had stage 4 on my ovaries, tubes, bladder, gallbladder, liver, and intestines. Also, my right ovary was stuck to my right tube, pinching off the tube, and he was able to fix it.

Sorry you have such bad AF. I do too. Here's a few things I do to help.
-start taking tylenol a couple of days before you start
-start easing off caffeine before you start
-excercise (I know it sucks during AF but it really does help)
-I tense up my lower abdomen when I'm hurting so if I consciously make myself relax it helps alot

I read that if you have a bad cycle compared to some of your others that its a good sign that you've ovulated.
Hope this helps!
