Sex scares me now!

Well before I had to go to work the other day, my boyfriend and I decided to have a quickie. About 15 minutes after, I started having crazy contractions that were 2-3 minutes apart and were very painful! They were only lasting about 30-45 seconds, but that was enough time for me. So I waited a few hours and when they started to get more intense I called my doctors office they had my go straight to L&D. They hooked me up to a monitor and thats where I stayed for a few hours, still contracting. They had me walk around for a little while to see if I would make anymore than my already 2cm dilation, but nothing. So they eventually wound up giving me a tylenol w/ codine and about 1.5 hours later, it finally started to ease up my pain. My contractions eventually slowed down as well and I was sent home. Now, I am terribly afraid to have sex again! Im so not ready to go through all that again. Tomorrow I have an appt. with my doctor and Im going to find out what I can do if I ever have false labor like that again because I just cant keep doing that. How many times can I go through that before my body actually gives in and the baby comes? Do you gals think I will go through that everytime I have sex or was it maybe just a one time thing? Please help!!

Did you ask your doctor about it!?

I wouldn't risk it out worry, and even if you did risk it you'd probably be too worried during sex to enjoy it....

Sex can make you contract, so chances are if it happened to you once it most likely will happen again.... your body is obviously reacting to you contracting your muscles etc when having sex and enjoying it...goodluck but unless you dont have sex I can almost certainly say it will happen again...

Do you think if that keeps happening that my body will go into full labor eventually and not just false labor?

It might do..but Im not a doctor so I cant tell you for sure... but you dont want to go into labour until your due...

Well no, I definately dont want him coming out before he's ready, but I also don't want to wait until after he's born to have sex again with the fear that I'll be in false labor again, hehe
