Are there any mommy's that were pregnant in highschool and now are out of high school, and made it through it all that could give some advice or encouragement on how to deal with it all?

Yeah, I think my best friend right now is my mom. I am always asking her questions about stuff. And part of the reason I love this site is because I can read different methods or ways on how to do things as well as ask questions.
The only thing I really have a problem with is the way people look at me at school, it makes me feel like a freak and I'm not even that big right now. But then when my baby boy starts kicking, it reminds me what I'm fighting for.

Thank you, I don't wanna whine about it, but it's just the way people act about it.

Urgh, I know but I guess it's just one of the prices we pay for getting pregnant so young.

Yeah, it's just those stupid people that say things like "You're going to get bigger" or "it's going to hurt", I just wanna yell DUH! Or when they say "my mom would have killed me or kicked me out!" Because most parents aren't like that, yes, they aren't jump for joy happy, but MOST of the time they care and love you still.

I feel you on that. At summer school people said the stupidest things to me. "Oh, do you get mad when the baby eats all your food?" or "You vagina's gonna be lose after". High school...   Then there's the people that just stare and stare. Not even just at school but in public. I'm sorta getting used to it though.

Most definately, I was nice and used to pregnancy and was even enjoying it a bit, then when you get to school, they make it seem like it's not a happy thing. That's why I just keep my ultrasound pictures in my bookbag, so I can always remind myself it is a good thing and I made the right choice. But the way they stare, it's almost like they feel the need to watch my tummy just in case an alien bursts out of me and eats them, although there are times I wish that would happen. Lol.

Im going to Sophomore year almost 8 months pregnant. Im def making myself graduate no matter what i have to do.

Ha ha i know what you mean with the things people say, its so annoying. I got so used to it tho and dont care anymore. Just sometimes if EVERY single person i walk by stares continuously, THAT kind of gets me pissed lol but yea people say the stupidest things and sometimes dont even notice.

Im not worried about people at school, most people act nice to me and are happy for me. Its just gonna suck going back to school with a huge belly randomly =P

Well I'm in my junior year and I'll be spending the first semester pregnant. And you have to be careful because those nicey nice people are the FIRST to talk about you or abandon you.

Not a happy thing? Weird. People were all goo-goo ga-ga over me. "OMG YOU'RE PREGNANT?! AWWWW", "Can I touch it?!". People I didn't even know would ask to touch me and questions about my personal life. I hope it's not as bad when I go back to school in two weeks. I don't think it will because the new school I'm going to has pregnant girls already. If is as bad, I might knock a bitch with my big ol' preggo belly, ha jk.

yeah i made it through the last 6 months of highschool for my senior year. It was hard but the definite adivice i can give..is stay focused!! definitely. And don't give up. ignoring the people is easier than completely focusing. Especially with all the syptoms that pregnancy brings. Hunger..tiredness..the two main things that suck in school and then getting to the point where you don't feel like waking up to go..But I did it and it's always nice think hey I'm going to finish so I can give my child a better life. Like someone said earlier don't be stereotypical you know and like dropout. I think you can do it.

Haha yea i know all about that...I went thru that shit before. But this time its different, their are so many pregnant girls around here in high school so its not a big deal. No one cares, they just get on with their lives. I know people still talk about me but nothing that would bother me. And i already found out who my real friends are so i can tell whos being real and whos being fake.
Usually the only people that make fun of you are the people that made fun of you or didnt like you BEFORE you were pregnant anyway. I dont have a problem with anyone so im good. =P People actually WANT me to be their friend because im pregnant, its stupid. Everyones like "Ohhh yay a baby! Can i be your friend?" Lol Random people even ask me if they can be his godmother.

I go to a tech school that only allows you 10 days out so its gonna be a pain in the ass. I might just transfer to the other high school and do the program where i only have to go from 2-4pm Mon-Thurs. You still get your diploma and get to graduate with everyone else.
