please help!! i need ur input...

sooo me and my husband just had to fight with the ultrasound people to be able to get an ultrasound before sept 6th because they wanted to wait until i was exactly 20 weeks....ill be 18 weeks and 5 days on the day of my ultrasound....the lady was a real bitch about it tho since we fought with them and she was like "if we cant find anything youll have to reschedule" my question is how many of you guys had an ultrasound around this time and WERENT able to find out the sex....is it really that big of a toss up at 18 weeks and 5 days like she made it sound...or do u think she was just being bitchy bc we fought with them for it.... ur input would be GREAT!!!!! thank you ladies!!! ps i leave on the 6th for home thats why we pushed to know the sex... before i see everyone

I found out at 16 weeks, so I'm sure you will be fine!

i had to wait until 20 wks too. but a lot of ladies find out around 18 wks so you should be fine.

we found out my first daughter was a girl at 16 weeks...

I thought I was finding out at 18 weeks and turned out I was 19 but my doctor scheduled me for 18 weeks and it was fine.

why is having a full bladder supposed to help????

I had to wait til 22 weeks. Ugh, it sucked. But a lot of people find out quitea bit earlier.

i found out at 14weeks.. 

found out my First was a boy at 14 weeks--- and that was almost 7 years ago! I think It will all be fine.

I don't know, but I was miserable the whole time...they could even see how full my bladder was! i found out at 19 weeks with no problem.

It pushes your uterus up and off your pubic bone so that they can actually see the baby.

i found out at 18 weeks, make sure you drink a decent amount of water and try to relax .

that's crazy !! I found out my sons gender ( VERY ACCURATELY) at 17 weeks!!! The nurse probably didn't get "none" and she was a pain in the ass..  I'm sure they will see what your baby is. Sorry you had to go through that!!
