I found out when I was 14 weeks so I think 18 weeks is okay

I had to wait until 20 weeks. But I heard stories of people who find out at 15 or 16 weeks and then find out later the gender was wrong. :/

I went when I was 18 weeks, and couldn't see the gender only because he was being difficult! As much as we moved around trying to see, he'd move around too. lol
I found out at 20 weeks... after a bit of chase he gave up and let us see 

Okay first off, your military... I'm guessing by your screen name. I'm a military spouse too. Ultrasounds on base are crap. You can find the sex by 15 weeks. I would seriously recommend going off base if you really want to know the sex, and get some neat 3d ultrasound pictures. I always went on base for my appointment ultrasounds that my doctor scheduled me for, but I also found a great place that does ONLY 3d ultrasounds, no doctor imput, but they can tell you the sex by 15 weeks. The place I went to even let me keep coming back for free until I got a picture of my daughter that I was happy with. And to top off 6 visits, it only cost me 60 dollars. There are places like that all over, you just have to look for them!  

amen lol!!!!!! same problem!!!!!!! ill be 18weeks at my appt sept 2nd but i have to wait till 20 weeks and come back sept 15th to find out what were havin the daddy wont be there at that time   i cant reschudule there all ready booked..... 

We have the same due date and I have to wait until September 11 to find out, I wish I could find out now though!!

I found out at 21 weeks and 6 days....But my best friend found out at 18 weeks.

Are you in Colorado Springs?? I want to get a 3-D ultrasound done but everywhere I have looked costs more than 100 dollars and my husband says thats too much.

For the original poster don't worry I still don't know what I am having and I won't find out until Sept. 2 and I will be 23 weeks by than. The suspense is killing me! (and my mom LOL)
