Dropping and Mucus plug.

So last night I was having terrible pain in my hips,lower back and lower abs. After I had sex. So I went to the doctors today cuz I was kinda worried. And they just said she dropped more. (disappointing) They said my cervix wasnt dialated at all either. But what does the mucus plug look like. Cuz i had some wierd slimy green stuff. and Idk.

So if you know. Help please.

There is a picture of a mucus plug on this site if you go looking for it. Careful though it is not a pleasant view! However it can also come out little pieces at a time. Mine has been more clear, yellow, and even a bit pink tinged at times.

Yah it was in tiny pieces.

I'd be concerned about GREEN discharge!!

mine has come out in 3 pieces so far since yesterday, the first 2 were white, and then a min ago, it was reddish. You can miss it if you poop or something. For the last 3 days everytime i pee i get up fast as i can and look b4 it sinks into the hole!! It's funny how fascinating our bodily functions are   Hope that helps.

It does help thanks. I know I'm very fascinated with how my body has changed. and the odd things that go on.

Um.... since you're over a month away from your due date, it's perfectly normal to not be dialating yet...

And, the pain of baby dropping is only gonna get worse.. I can barely walk. lol.

If the discharge was honestly green... that could be a problem....

and i've heard that green could be a sign of infection, have you told your doc? And are you sure it was green?

Now its just white with a little pink
