Pink Discharge

Ok so my mom was just talking to my sister and she is due March 23rd and she is wondering if she should be worried about a pinkish discharge? Anybody have this or know if she should be worried?

I have it right now and I'm fine as far as I know.

It's common in early pregnancy - espescially after intercourse or internal exam.... Probably nothing to worry about unless she starts having excessive cramping and bright red blood....

It should turn brown within a week or two, and go away... if not, call the doc.

how about if she has had a previous miscarriage

Still not a big deal. Unless the pink gets darker, and turns red, she's probably fine.... Is she cramping?

She said no cramping

She's probably just fine then  

But if it gets darker, or doesn't go away in a few days... call the doc to be safe.

My cousin actually had a lot of bright red bleeding until 18 weeks - she had placenta previa, luckily it cleared up!!
