OwWw when does it stop?!

I had my lil man 1 week and 2 days ago and hes breastfeeding and everytime he eats my uterus goes to contracting almost to the point where I cant even hold him. And when I have to pee or poop I get all this pain and it hurts soo bad but once I go it feels better. I've been rubbing my tummy to help get the blood out but man I am in so much pain. I had a second degree tear. How much longer until my uterus goes back down?  

they should of massaged your utereus the days you were in hte hospoital to help you..but mine did it for about a month. good luck momma

They did all the time but it still hurts like crazy

It takes a while hun, it could take up until 8 weeks pp..

my doc told me the my uterus should be back into my pelvic region by 2 weeks, as for the contracting, i'm not sure but after a couple weeks it should def be more tolerable.   I get the same thing...

did you mean, when your bladder is emptying, it hurts? I get that pain too... i think its just everything going back into place... but thats just my theory

I stopped cramping at 2 weeks, but everyonce in a while i get a small cramp. I went to the dr at5 weeks then again at 11 weeks and my uterus is still not down...gah.. and im breastfeeding too.
