You'll get formula until they turn one and foods for them until they turn 5 years.. I think.

I get 8 cans a month because my can size is different they give you 9 if you are on any other formula than the purple similac.

Actually according to what my WIC office told me it's mandated on what they give you unless you or your baby has a nutritional problem.

I'm not sure because I haven't had the baby yet but they said at WIC that it isn't enough for all the baby needs. Also they push breast feeding a lot and that's what I plan on doing because it's a lot cheaper and they say breastfed babies get sick less often.

It depends on how old they are. I'm guessing your asking for when your baby is 1st born. I get 9 cans a month and my daughter is 11 months and the 9 cans last a month or a little longer, but as a newborn, I' go through a can every 2-3 days, 4 days is pushing it. I still had to buy at least 3-5 cans a month, smetimes more in the very beginning. If you have food stamps though, you can use them too. They usually cost like $13. But it is soooo worth it. You still save over $100!!

We get 9 cans a month and there were only maybe 2 times I had to buy a can. Now he's 9 1/2 months and we have more than enough to last through a month.

They really push breastfeeding. I hate going in there everytime and saying no that I do not breastfeed. I wish that would have worked out for us.

Anyways the 8 cans I get each month last me about 5-7 weeks. As they get older and eat more it may take more up but I just went and got my coupons for this month ans still had three cans sitting up in the cabinet unopened.

My baby is on WIC and gets Carnation Goodstart. She gets 10 cans of the powdered formula a month. Like her checks go from the 6th of August to the 6th of September. And at 6 months they start getting cereal and juice.
