very frustrating!

So on Monday I just hit 37 weeks and I went to my doctors appointment like normal, but yet I was still a little upset that I hadn't been seen for a month. then when I went the nurse let me know that this was "technically" my 36 week appointment so I had to do my GBS test no biggie. then she let me know I wont be seen again for another 2 weeks which my doctor had already said at my last appointment and well thatstill upsets me. she had to schedual me for one of his on call days because he had no other appointments open and I have to hope and pray that he gets in to see me. then to add onto it the only thing they did was take my BP, weight and listen to the babies heart beat. this doesn't seem normal! and it's so frustrating even though my mom assures me that it's just because it's a military doc and they dont get paid by insurance so they dont schedual as many appointments. then to add onto it my BP was high and the nurse didn't even say anything about it just wrote it down and my doc had to take me back in and redo it becuase it was too high... is it really supposed to be like this? shouldn't they be checking around this time to see what's going on down there?

ya i would think so my last appt 13th i had to get a group B test and they gave me a exam . i was already 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced .and the baby was already low down in the pelvic ..and the some stuff they do everytime you go in . i was supposed to go back everyweek but the lady at the front made my appt for two weeks so i got back on 26th . but i would think they would check you to see if your dilated or if something is happening yet . good luck

you would think... oh well, maybe I'm just making a big deal out of it but then again my next appointment is set for 6 days before I'm due YIKES!

Thats crazy, I see my doctor EVERY week.. and she checks me EVERY time I go in to see if i'm dialating, which i'm NOT and it sucks... cuz his head is really low and pressing right against my cervix but i'm not dialating so they might have to have an emergency c section :[ I'd call your dr and ask if you can come in any sooner because you're worried about it and that you'd like to be checked.

I probably will cause I wont be seen again until the 2nd. that seems so far away!
