We bought a new truck....

I am so freaking out right now! But I can't let Timmy know it because he is freaking out even more than I am. I mean I know we can afford it but it's still scary. His parent's don't even know we bought it yet and his mother is going to have a heartattack! See she doesn't think we should make any big life decisions without consulting her first and she flipped out and kept telling us we couldn't get a new vehicle when Timmy told her we were. Well, little does she know it is a VERY BAD thing to tell me I can't do anything. But we didn't buy this truck on a whim. I consulted my father (who is the only person capable of pulling us out of a financial rutt if ever we needed it so I figured he would be a good person to consult...) and he said it is a good idea. It is a 2004 Ford F150 with 50k mi on it. It has little damage (the bed doesn't have a liner in it) it is an extended cab with back doors that and enough room in the back for baby and we only paid $9900 for it. (The truck was about to have a birthday sittingon the lot because people aren't buying low gas mileage vehicles) but the lowgas mileage isn't really a problem because we only live 1.5mi (one way) from where Timmy works whichwill bewhere the truck willbe going most of the time anyway.I also calledmy insurance agent, she is a moron so Ishopped around for insurance and we gotfull coverage for $1100 for 6 months (whereas my agent said it would be$1600 for 6 months).I am wicked excited but still kind of a little scared and his mother is going to flip out on us... I am sorry, I just hadto let this all out because I am kind of scared that we won't be able to pay for it, even though I know we can! *Deep breath*

Did you get a carfax report on it?
Congrats! But you said there was damage and I know cars that have been in accidents can cause problems. Unless you got some kind of warranty.

The damage was all in the bed of the truck from there not being a liner in it. I did get a carfax and it's clean. Thanks and I will post a pic when we pick it up...wejust have to sign all the paperwork...
