Finally.. here she is..

I feel like I was waiting for her forever..
My short and sweet labor and delivery story..
Went in at 630pm on Monday the 18th, had cervidil put in shortly after my arrival. Started getting little contractions then bigger ones so I took 2 vistrial pills and then a shot of morphine for my back, I wasn’t in active labor yet so I couldn’t get an epidural. The morphine allowed me to sleep, at 6am I awoke with a leg cramp that turned into a contraction and then a POP and it was Niagra Falls everywhere. Now was the time for the epidural, I got it and things went smooth. Before I knew it I was ready to push at 445pm. In the middle of pushing my epidural wore off and I couldn’t go on it was too painful so they got the superhero down to my room ASAP. After pushing for 2 hours and 45 minutes and a little help from the vacuum Makenna Belle was born. At 729pm on August 19th 2008, she was 7lbs 10oz and 20.5 inches long. I tore once up by my urethra and that required only one stitch yay When we brought her home she was down to 7lbs 3oz but she eats like a champ! I’m so glad breastfeeding is going well for us. You make me so anxious. She is the cutest little thing I think I've seen on here. Newborn girls are amazing.
